The SpecBikeTechnics COMFORT E is a customizable electric full-suspension recumbent trike designed for touring, daily rides and longer journeys. Its electric assistance helps the rider handle longer distances, headwinds and climbs with less effort. The low seating position, adjustable recumbent seat and independent suspension on all three wheels provide a stable and controlled ride on paved roads, gravel paths and uneven surfaces. The COMFORT E is equipped with a Shimano electric-assist system that provides smooth and controlled support while pedalling. The rider can select the required assistance level according to the terrain, riding conditions and desired effort. The motor assists the rider only while pedalling, preserving the natural cycling experience while making longer or more demanding journeys more accessible. All three wheels are independently suspended, helping to improve comfort, wheel contact and stability on uneven surfaces. Adjustable shock absorbers allow the suspension stiffness to be adapted to the rider’s weight, luggage and road conditions. The standard configuration features two 20-inch front wheels and one 26-inch rear wheel. The larger rear wheel helps the trike maintain speed on level roads, while standard bicycle wheel sizes make it easier to select suitable tires. The front and rear wheels are equipped with disc brakes. The front braking system also includes a parking brake for additional convenience when stopping or parking the trike. The SpecBikeTechnics fiberglass seat features an adjustable backrest and headrest. The seating position can be changed from a lower, sport-oriented position to a more upright touring position. The recumbent seating position supports the rider’s back and helps reduce pressure on the hands and wrists during longer rides. The steering geometry is designed to provide precise and predictable handling. The low center of gravity and independent suspension contribute to stability when cornering and riding on uneven roads. The COMFORT E combines electric assistance with a mechanical bicycle drivetrain, allowing the rider to select a suitable gear for the terrain and riding conditions. The distance between the seat and pedals can be adjusted for riders of different heights. Protective chain tubes help keep clothing away from the moving chain.
