The SpecBikeTechnics STANDARD is a customizable recumbent trike without suspension, designed for riders who prefer direct road feedback, precise handling and a simpler, lower-weight construction. Its rigid non-folding frame and three matching 20-inch wheels make it compact and practical for daily rides, touring and firm road surfaces.
All three wheels use standard bicycle sizes, making it easier to carry matching spare tubes and select suitable tires. Mechanical disc brakes are installed on the front and rear wheels, while the front braking system also includes a parking brake function.
The seating position and distance between the seat and pedals can be adjusted for riders approximately 1.40–2.20 m tall. A custom RAL frame color, alternative drivetrain configurations and additional accessories are also available.
Rigid Frame and Direct Road Feel
The STANDARD uses a rigid non-suspension frame for direct and predictable road feedback. With fewer suspension components, the construction is simpler and lighter than the SpecBikeTechnics full-suspension models.
Matching 20-Inch Wheels
The trike is equipped with three 20-inch wheels. Using the same wheel size at the front and rear simplifies tire and inner tube selection and helps keep the overall dimensions compact.
Disc Brakes and Parking Brake
Mechanical disc brakes are installed on the front and rear wheels. The front braking system includes a parking brake function for convenient stopping and parking.
Adjustable Recumbent Seat
The SpecBikeTechnics fiberglass seat provides a supported recumbent riding position. The seat position and distance to the pedals can be adjusted for riders of different heights.
Steering and Handling
The steering geometry is designed to provide precise and predictable handling. The rigid frame and direct steering system allow the rider to feel the road clearly and maintain controlled handling when cornering.
Transmission
The STANDARD is equipped with a multi-range drivetrain using Shimano and Sturmey-Archer components. It provides a practical selection of gears for level roads and climbing. Alternative drivetrain configurations are available on request.
